Call Direct’s ConnectDirect fixed IP addressing bureau can offer you the ability to establish IP sessions in either direction between your Call Direct cellular router and your backend over Call Direct’s closed community IP network, anywhere where there is Telstra’s extensive Next G network coverage.
How the closed community works, as a member of the community you would share Call Direct’s private IP network with other Call Direct customers exclusively. As this is a closed IP network you are secure in knowing no one will have access to your devices from the public internet.
Each member of the network
You choose your own user names and passwords Call Direct then manages the authentication on to the network in-house.
The service is offered on a subscription fee basis, no large up front installation costs.
Typical Users:-
- Customers unable to cost justify installing a fully managed service with their communications carrier
- Hardware vendors with large single user customer base, needing server to remote client IP connectivity.
- Temporary installations where customers are waiting for their permanent VPN to be established with thier chosen carrier
